About the candle artist:  Mississippi Candle Co. was founded by Jessica Simon in 2019. She started making candles as a hobby in 2018. She later started selling her candles at local artist events and pop ups where they became a local favorite with crowds and long lines at her tent. Jessica's husband Josh encouraged her to sell her products wholesale. She drove from one side of the Mississippi Gulf Coast to the other with samples. She had fourteen different locations including three coast casinos pick up her products to sell in their stores and gift shops where they still sell to this day. Today, Jessica works hard day and night to fill all orders. Her dream is to build a custom warehouse and support her family and community by creating jobs in South Mississippi.
