Please join us, Islander Outfitters Tours & Travel, for a week of Team-Building Games, Marine Education, Outdoor Skills, and Much More!


Camp is Monday, April 17th – Friday, April 21st 2017

Times: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Check-in daily: 7:30 – 8:00 a.m.)


Campers are welcome to come as “Drop-in’s” daily or for the whole week!


Cost: $25.00 / Day per Child or $110.00 / week per Child
Age Groups: 5, 6, & 7 years old

General Information & Frequently Asked Questions

Who:

Islander Outfitters LLC will be hosting the Outdoor Education Camp. Islander Outfitters Tour & Travel Coordinator, Paul Nettles, will be the director and lead instructor for the Spring Break Camp. As an Outdoor Educator and Interpretive Naturalist, Paul, has extensive experience and knowledge in leading and teaching groups in the outdoors. Paul is committed to, “providing hands-on, experiential education opportunities to increase awareness and to promote stewardship of natural resources”.

What:

Islander Outfitters Outdoor Education Camp is a week-long day camp (5 Days) that will engage students in Team-Building Activities, Marine Science Education, Outdoor Skill Development, and Having Fun Outside! Outdoor Education Camp is designed to give parents/guardians the flexibility to have students attend camp for just one day, choice of days, or the whole week.


When:

Islander Outfitters Outdoor Education Camp will be held:
 Monday, April 17th - Friday, April 21st 
8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Daily (Check-in Daily from 7:30 - 8:00 a.m.)


Where:

Islander Outfitters is located at: 929 Washington Ave., Ocean Springs 
(Corner of Washington and Robinson across from Poppy’s)
Islander Outfitters Outdoor Education Camp will take place at Ft. Maurepas Park on Front Beach in Ocean Springs. From there, student activities will take place on the sand beach both east (towards OS Harbor) and west (towards OS Yacht Club) from the park.


How:

Islander Outfitters Outdoor Education Camp is open to the following age groups:
 5, 6, & 7 years old
; 8, 9, & 10 years old
; 11, 12, & 13 years old
